They even have a Monarchy political system which has been ruled by the Queen Ant for thousands of years. There have been no attempts to overthrow their system. You are a worker for the Queen or you are a soldier for the Queen. Either way you work for the WOMAN!
I sit here and ponder what the colony would be like living among the ants, do they have school? houses under the ground? We know that there grocery store is open 24 hours a day right outside their little Ant hill (That would be our homes!). I bet they even have Ant Training classes on what type of poisons to stay away from and which ones to bring home because it's not poison to them, but an aphrodisiac! They sit there and have Ant Scientists who come up with vaccinations to new poisons that have been developed by our scientists.
I am sure that if we new what an Ant hill looks like, it would probably look like something from the picture above. Ants at work, having lunch, going to school, a warehouse to store ant food, and even a clothing store "Army Ants Surplus!" It seems as if everything that we try to do to get rid of those pesky little buggers, nothing works!
So remember, everything that we create to kill the Ant species, they create something to counteract what we have done to try to kill them. I am sure that even now as I sit here and type this, an ant is typing their blog on how and why humans are still alive after all of these years. That ant scientists are coming out with new ways to poison us! Maybe they are doing testing on all of those picnic basket foods you see them take back to their ant hills.
Hmmmmmmm,
Ever stop to wonder why?

Steve,
I sat here reading this smiling, smiling because someone with every word that you typed it was somehow very true.
I have always wondered why every year the manufacturers of Black Flag come out with new varieties if the old version worked so well.
Well your post seems to have answered that question. Now we know why we come up with new poisons every year and why the ants just keep coming back.
You know this post just begs to be shared and not among the ant colonies!

I'm here from Kat's blog because she promised a laugh and she was right! Great post!
OK That was funny!
The ants are getting all their investigational material from my pantry right now! (And they're scoping out my bathroom too...Whaddya think's interesting them in there?). Thanks for the smile!

Fun post, Steve.
Thanks again for the award. I mentioned it on my blog today.
Adorable post and much needed in the seriousness of my day...thank you!
This is tooo cute! Thanks for the laugh....much needed today :)
I have a "Raid" handy...But they just change their route after I extinguish one army. Your post helped me to understand why :) LOL...
I came here from your wife's blog too. This is too funny. Your background is awesome.

I too, popped over from your wife's blog.
It's an evil ant plot. Aren't they fascinating? (As long as they aren't in my home, of course).
How true! I'll remember this as I continue battling the ants in my kitchen.
Steve,
Congratulations, I have a special surprise waiting just for you. Hop on over to my blog and check it out.

U have an award at arise 2 write!
How humorous. Actually, oddly enough I was thinking today of how they are supposed to work without tiring. Maybe that is why ants outsmart us. Hmmm!
Blessings, Laurie
Hi, Steve.
Isn't God's creation, even the small ants, so amazing?
I am floored at how people can study creation and deny there is a God or that he made it all.
Thank you for making me take time out of my hectic day to stop and think what He has given us.
I am glad you stopped by Art's chili and hope to see you around often!

I'm too organic for poison. I just stepped on a huge bunch of marching ants that were all in a big pile- probably thousands. Stepped on 'em and squished 'em into each other on the concrete wall where they were gathered. After all that smooshing, I don't think I actually killed that many. Hmm.
Thanks for visiting my blog. We take people into the family all the time. There are honestly people who come to that reunion whom we are not sure are relatives or friends of the family- they have been coming for so many years now. It is a riot. Like the ant party without the stomp and kill.
